The good news is that the nurse suggested that the low heart rate problem is being caused by my meds, which would be a relief. Haven't seen the doctor yet for test results

Fingers crossed, bud.

Hope it’s just a medication issue.

Sounds like potentially good news, hopefully that’s it.
IIRC heart meds can be pretty sensitive to dosage etc, and can cause scares that require dosage changes. Hopefully it’s just that.
Best wishes !

That’s pretty good news. There are many medications that can cause signs of other issues.
Hopefully your doctor will either revisit those medication levels or look at other meds that don’t react the same way.
It’ll take a while but you’ll get there fella and you will bloody get there, you’ve many many more years left in you yet.
Again, take car. I’m off to work.

I think you’ll feel better if you buy this wagon for me. You should be able to write it off as a charity. You can start a new venture where you rescue helpless cars and donate them to a good cause.

Hoping for the best! Does the low heartrate explain the pain?
Keep us updated!

Hope you get a solid answer soon - waiting for people to work out what’s going on is not stress reducing!

Good to hear. My dad frequently has a resting heart rate <40 (low enough that he sometimes has problems with consumer heart monitors not registering it), but the doctors don’t seem especially concerned (at least since he had surgery to correct his AFib).
Would they just look at switching meds for you?

This happened with my uncle on Monday. He is back to normal already after tweaking his medication. I wish you the best!
